South Oakville Medical Group Patients:
--For the foreseeable future, South Oakville Medical Group will maintain a virtual approach to care in order to keep community transmission low and sustain the steady decline in COVID-19 cases.
It is very important to continue to take care of your health during this pandemic, especially for those with chronic diseases. Please do not delay routine follow-up appointments or appointments for new health concerns as most of these can be done virtually. Only your doctor will determine during your phone or video consultation whether you require an in-person appointment to address your concern.
Please call our office directly to schedule a virtual visit at 905-842-2174
INFORMATION FOR IN-OFFICE VISITS:
-
You will receive a screening phone call on the day of or the day before your appointment
-
We ask that all patients come alone (with the exception of minors who should be accompanied by one parent, or elderly patients that require assistance)
-
As we are trying to keep as much physical space between in-office patients, we ask that you do NOT arrive early for your appointment but at the appointed time. If you arrive early, we will ask you to wait in your car and we will call you to come into the office.
-
We ask ALL patients to wear a face mask to the office (with the exception of those age 5 & under)
EMERGENCIES ARE STILL EMERGENCIES
Emergency departments are safe and available
Call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room if you require urgent attention
